18K GOLD VERMEIL
Gold vermeil (pronounced ver-may) is a specific type of gold plating that involves the application of a thick layer of gold onto 925 sterling silver. To be considered vermeil, the gold layer must be at least 2.5 microns thick.
Our 18k gold vermeil is 3 microns thick which is 6x thicker than the average gold plating.
925 STERLING SILVER
Our silver jewellery is made from 925 sterling silver, an alloy comprised of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals. This precise blend ensures not only the unparalleled brilliance of silver but also the strength and durability required for lasting beauty.
The rhodium plating provides a protective layer that minimises tarnish, helping the jewellery maintain its original shine and luster. The rhodium plating also enhances the hypoallergenic properties of the jewellery, making it suitable for individuals with sensitive skin.
14K GOLD
Indulge in the luxury of 14k gold. Comprising 58.3% pure gold, our 14k gold jewellery is alloyed with other metals for strength and durability, ensuring heirloom-quality pieces.
HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR NOORA JEWELLERY.
Store your jewellery individually to prevent scratches and tangling. We recommend keeping each piece in its own jewellery box or pouch.
Avoid contact with perfumes, body lotions and other chemicals. Jewellery should always be the last thing you put on when getting ready.
Keep your jewellery away from water. Avoid wearing it when showering, swimming, exercising, sweating or washing your hands.
Store in a cool, dry place, away from heat and direct sunlight. A dark, dry environment is ideal for preserving its finish.
Remove your jewellery before going to bed or taking part in any physical activity.
Clean gently using a soft, lint free cloth. For a deeper clean, soak your jewellery in a bowl of lukewarm water with mild dish soap, then gently brush with a soft brush to remove any build up and restore its shine. Rinse thoroughly to remove any soap residue before drying.
For tarnished silver, use a suitable silver polishing solution if needed. Please note that frequent polishing may gradually wear away the gold plating.
